Skaleet 2025 Year in Review

2025 was a landmark year for Skaleet, a year defined by customer growth, our ecosystem deepening, and thesis validation. As financial institutions across Europe and Africa confront rising competition, new regulatory demands, and the acceleration of embedded finance, our mission to rebuild banking has never felt more urgent or more aligned with where the industry is heading.

This year, we grew on every major metric that matters, accelerating our momentum toward becoming a leading next-gen modern core banking. Year-over-year revenue increased by 40%, driven by both expanding relationships with existing clients and new institutions choosing Skaleet as the core banking solutions for their future. In a market where neobanks like Revolut (now valued at $75 billion) are redefining customer expectations and quickly expanding into new markets, banks cannot afford to stand still. Many of Europe’s largest institutions are now reevaluating their business models, seeking agility and diversification beyond traditional retail banking. Now deployed in 15 countries, Skaleet is proud to serve half of the top six French banking groups, a powerful validation of our technology, our team, and our vision. This year we officially launched a Skaleet Center of Excellence at Onepoint, to expand our pan-European capacity to help banks modernize legacy technology and launch new digital products and services. We are also proud to continue to support more and more regulated banking and corporate disruptors as they scale up with their embedded finance propositions.

Customer Growth

Customer activity on the Skaleet platform grew dramatically this year. Our transaction volume has jumped +80% vs 2024 and has multiplied 5x vs 2023. This surge reflects both the success of our clients and the improvements we have made to the platform itself, enhancing performance, scalability and reliability as workloads continue to grow.

This kind of volume doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from continuously strengthening the product, optimizing throughput, and ensuring the platform can scale seamlessly with our customers’ ambitions. Our engineering and product teams spent much of 2025 laying the foundations for even stronger scalability, faster processing, and expanded functional coverage.

2025 Product Highlights

ECOSYSTEM

At Skaleet, we do not provide only a platform, but a solution that comes with pre-built connectors.

  • Payments & Networks
    • BPCE Payment Services: In the context of our partnership with BPCE, we launched for a client the ability to send and receive large-value payments via the TARGET2 network.
    • Native integration with Transactis (Société Générale and La Banque Postale Joint Venture Payment Fabric) for SCT Inst, enabling end-to-end instant payments processing through a dedicated connector, including reception, webhooks and platform-level configuration.
  • Customer Screening
Direct integration with ComplyAdvantage Mesh for AI-enabled customer screening, enabling the exchange of screening results and risk signals within onboarding and compliance workflows, with full control and traceability at platform level.

  • Compliance
Integration with Banque de France using Skaleet Process Automation for check controls and incidents management.

PLATFORM

  • Multi-Entity Operations
Entity-level management of identities, access rights, SSO, accounts, products, transactions and accounting, allowing multiple legal entities to operate independently on a single platform with strict segregation and security.

  • Publishing Engine
Centralized document generation and distribution with configurable templates, headers, footers, metadata and QR codes, supporting automated and API-driven document workflows.

  • Data Platform
A secure data platform that centralizes all data generated across the system. Its purpose is simple: transform raw operational data into clean, consistent, and fully usable datasets. By unifying fragmented information into analytics-ready assets, it accelerates reporting, decision-making, and AI use cases.

CUSTOMERS

  • Vulnerable Persons
Native handling of minors and legally incapacitated adults, including legal capacity modeling, delegate and legal representative management, and the automatic enforcement of rules and eligibility checks (age of majority, financial vulnerability, etc.).

  • Customer 360 view
A multi-profile model that consolidates all contracts and permissions under a single identity, providing a true 360° view of customers. This unified view improves scoring accuracy and strengthens regulatory compliance by giving institutions a clearer and more complete understanding of each individual.

DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS

  • Extended Savings Offer
End-to-end management of regulated savings products, including eligibility rules, interest computation, contract lifecycle, migration flows and e-signature integration.
    • Regulated Savings
    • Current Account Saving Account
  • Cash Facilities
Cash facilities management covering configuration, attribution, lifecycle events, debit interest calculation, accounting, and regulatory handling, built as an extension of our authorized overdraft capability.

  • Electronic Bank Statements
Native support for camt.053 (Bank to Customer Statement), camt.054 (Bank to Customer Debit/Credit Notification) and camt.086 (Fee Collection Report), the core cash-management formats used by banks to exchange account and transaction information. Statements and notifications can be generated, scheduled, and delivered centrally via the back-office portal or SFTP, including for corporate use cases.

PAYMENTS

  • Smart Routing
Dynamic payment routing based on beneficiary reachability and IBAN/BIC analysis, selecting the appropriate payment rail when multiple schemes coexist.

  • Verification of Payee
We have integrated Verification of Payee (VoP) into our Payment Engine, now mandatory in Europe from 9 October 2025, to strengthen payment security and reduce misdirected or fraudulent transfers. By validating the match between the beneficiary’s identity and account details before execution, VoP enhances trust and transparency across all payment flows.

  • Recurring Payments
Support for recurring payment instructions allowing customers or institutions to automate repeated credit transfers on a predefined schedule. The platform manages creation, frequency settings, execution, and exception handling

  • Cheques Payments
Full module managing the end-to-end lifecycle of cheques and chequebooks, from decision and rejection handling to deposit processing and settlement. This includes decisions on cheque payments and deposits (manual or automated, inward and outward, including late rejects), the processing of single and bulk deposits with compensation files, and the settlement of bulk payments along with the management of cheque-related provisions.

  • Decision System
A highly configurable engine that defines controls and checks on payments requiring manual validation, supporting complex decision scenarios and enabling teams to tailor rules and workflows. It allows institutions to create and categorize pending operations, visualize items placed on hold, flag them as pending during processing, and validate or refuse them with documented justification — all actions being tracked, recorded, and fully auditable to ensure complete transparency across the approval lifecycle.

AI

At Skaleet, we are deeply convinced that the AI opportunity is massive for the banks, with McKinsey estimating around €1 trillion in annual value potential once AI is deployed at scale across the industry. But if not underpinned by modern real-time, event-driven, API-first back-end core banking, AI initiatives will never leave the POC stage and promises of transformed customer experience and productivity gains will remain pages on (AI-generated) slideshows.

  • Voice Banking
Initiative to enable bank transfer initiation through simple voice commands within the Skaleet mobile app. The solution leverages speech-to-text and intent detection to extract transfer details such as beneficiary, amount and execution date, prefill the payment flow, and require explicit user confirmation before execution.

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - “Ariane”
An internal RAG assistant that enhances access to product knowledge and supports operational efficiency. Currently operating as an internal MVP, it is continuously refined through structured feedback. Our objective is to deliver a client-facing version by 2026, enabling customers to access accurate product information autonomously.

A Sneak Peek of our 2026 Roadmap

Speaking of our product, we’re happy to share a couple of things that are on deck for the next few months.

Payments

Wero: We will integrate with Wero to bring European payment sovereignty directly into our Payment Engine, enabling institutions to leverage a fully European, modern, and secure instant payment scheme seamlessly embedded into their operations.

X-Pay: We will also add support for X-Pay solutions (Apple Pay, Google Pay, and others), allowing institutions to offer tokenized card payments across major digital wallets and deliver a frictionless, modern payment experience to their end users.

Savings

We are expanding the functional scope of our savings module to support more advanced and competitive savings products. This includes the introduction of term-deposit renewal management, enabling smoother lifecycle handling, and boosted-rate options for savings accounts to offer more attractive and differentiated propositions to end customers. These enhancements strengthen our ability to cover the full breadth of savings use cases.

German localization

As part of our ambition to build a pan-European leader, we are advancing our localization strategy across the EU, now implemented in six countries. In 2026, our German localization will be a key milestone, further anchoring our approach to scalable, market-ready deployments. As part of this, we are adapting our platform to German specificities while, in parallel, strengthening our core configurability-first principle.

This dual approach ensures institutions can launch locally compliant products with speed, and seamlessly scale across borders, markets, and regulations without added complexity or additional development.

AI

Model Context Protocol (MCP): Already in testing now in 2025, the implementation of our Model Context Protocol (MCP) for payments will enable AI LLM models to interact directly with the Skaleet core. By exposing hundreds of API endpoints, the MCP unlocks a wide range of AI-powered use cases across the core banking perimeter. Our initial implementation will focus on payments, enabling:

  • Real-time anomaly detection and transaction analysis through aggregated data,
  • Proactive service management, allowing teams to identify irregular patterns or bottlenecks before they impact clients,
  • Customer-facing AI-agent capable of providing end users with live updates on transaction status.

Agentic Commerce Readiness: We anticipate the rise of AI-driven financial interactions, where autonomous agents act on behalf of users. Our product direction enables safe, controlled, and auditable agent-initiated actions across the core banking perimeter, allowing banks and disruptors on Skaleet to embrace the agentic-commerce revolution, where payments are triggered by e-commerce agents activated by personal assistant agents.

Culture and Governance

We’re proud to finally officially announce that Esta Stecher has joined our Advisory Board! Her leadership at the intersection of finance, regulation, and innovation has already long been a source of strength for Skaleet. As former General Counsel of Goldman Sachs, CEO of Goldman Sachs Bank USA, and current Advisor to the Board of Directors at Revolut Group Holdings Ltd., Esta brings decades of experience guiding financial institutions as they navigate new frontiers.

Our internal foundations grew just as strong in 2025. Skaleet earned the Great Place to Work® certification, an achievement that reflects the energy and commitment of our teams. We achieved an 88/100 score on the Gender Equality Index, which measures how fairly companies treat employees of different genders in terms of pay, raises, etc. These commitments and shifts are shaping a stronger Skaleet culture aligned with our values of excellence, commitment and passion, ensuring that we continue to grow on solid, future-ready foundations.
